The workshop was part of the EU research project "Creating NEBourhoods Together" under the New European Bauhaus campaign, funded by the European Union. The project is a collaboration between the Technical University of Munich and the Chair of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Design and Building (ENPB) looking to Neuperlach as a testbed for new methods and innovative solutions for a sustainable development of neighbourhoods. Running for two years, NEBourhoods is an experimental field for longer-term urban development measures in the area.
The aim of the workshop was to establish a co-creative process for a circular Neuperlach, based on the existing urban development concepts ADEPT developed as part of the ‘Integrated City Development Concept’ (ISEK) and the preliminary urban survey (VU).
