Florenc21 is a joint project of the City of Prague, Municipal Councils of Prague 8 and Prague 1 and Penta Real Estate and one of the one of the key development sites within Prague’s largest inner-city transformation area. The project forms part of the broader redevelopment of Florenc, where former infrastructure-dominated land is being transformed into a dense, mixed-use urban district.
The winning proposal for plot BO1 by ADEPT and Prague-based Oh Boi brings together historic structures, new office buildings, and public space into a unified urban cluster that responds to Prague’s layered cityscape. Rather than treating the site as a blank slate, the project builds on existing urban conditions – infrastructure, heritage, and movement – transforming them into spatial qualities that support everyday urban life.
